Dear Youth Pastor/Leader,

There are over 1700 students at Celebration High School and most students do not attend church or a youth group. This year, I have met more and more students that have never been told about Jesus. Because of the separation of church and state, I am limited in what I can say. However, my heart breaks for the students that are hurting everyday and don’t have anywhere to turn. I have been continually reminded that we desperately need a campus ministry.

We have not had any form of campus ministry at CHS for a few years and the harvest is ready. We are looking for fellow youth pastors and youth leaders that have a heart for the students at Celebration High School and would be willing to help out. First Priority provides a structure and schedule for building a religious community on campuses. They have successfully brought churches together to minister in schools across the country. First Priority believes in empowering students to be missionaries on their own campus and presenting the gospel repeatedly.

In order to make this happen, we need youth pastors and leaders to train the Christian student leaders. They need to be trained how to give their testimony and present the gospel. The amazing benefit for you and your ministry is that it opens the door to an incredible mission field. We are not looking to start a youth group on campus and will need good Bible-believing, Jesus-loving churches and youth groups to plug students into.

On Friday, April 1 at 9 am, we are meeting to discuss a campus ministry. We hope to have several youth pastors and leaders attend. If you are interested in learning more, please let me know. I hope to see you at our first meeting! We will meet at Celebration High School in my classroom (6-101). Please feel free to contact me to RSVP or ask questions. This is an open meeting, so please feel free to invite other youth pastors and leaders that would be interested.

Serving Together,

K. McGaughey
